He also worked at a real estate office, which confirmed his decision to pursue real estate as a career once he graduated. During his senior year, he was named the Hulsey Scholar and earned a real estate scholarship for his outstanding efforts.

After graduation, John David returned home to the Birmingham area and jumped into his real estate career with both feet.
